New research led by Dr Jo Blodgett, which investigated if children with poor balance ability when they were 10 years old were at greater risk of poor balance in midlife.
ISEH Dr Snehal Pinto Pereira has led a study with Professor Rachal Cooper (Manchester Metropolitan University & Newcastle University) investigating whether total adiposity (indicated by body mass index, (BMI), and body fat percentage (BF%)) and
Professor James Hull, worked together with fellow leading physicians from around the world to produce the second guideline, part II of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) consensus statement on acute respiratory illness in athletes.
This important research was co-led by Dr Snehal Pinto Pereira, and Professor Rachel Cooper (Manchester Metropolitan University) and conducted in partnership with ISEH’s Prof. Mark Hamer and Dr David Tomlinson (Manchester Metropolitan University).
