The Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health is delighted to share that MSc Sports Medicine, Exercise & Health Alumni, Sukhrob Saliev, has been awarded the Social Action Award 2021/2022 by The British Council in Uzbekistan.

Sukhrob was awarded the ‘Social Action Award - recognising alumni who have made an exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving the lives of others’ – presented by the director of the British Council in Uzbekistan, Denis Weddingham.

The Study UK Alumni Awards celebrates and highlights outstanding UK university graduates who have used their experience of studying in the UK to make noteworthy contributions in their professions, honoring their commitment to making positive change to the benefit of their communities, industries and countries. Now in its eighth year, The British Council is committed to celebrating outstanding UK university graduates from around the world.

Sukhrob is dedicated to the treatment, education and training of young people in sports, exercise and health, and conducts research on the impact physical activity has on well-being while advising in programs of oncohematology healthcare sector in the region. Sukhrob is the lead international expert in healthcare consultancy in oncoheamtology and researcher in sports medicine. As part of the award, Sukhrob was granted £1,200 for self development expenditures.

University College London partners with The ISEH to deliver a suite of courses which includes masters, postgraduate and undergraduate courses within the specialty of Sports Medicine.
