Congratulations to Dr Eleanor Tillett, Sport and Exercise Medicine Consultant at the Institute of Sport Exercise and Health (ISEH) and co-lead of the MSc in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health and Dr Flaminia Ronca, ISEH Exercise Physiologist and Senior Teaching Fellow on the BSc in Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences who have both been elected onto the UCL Academic Board from September 2020.
The Academic Board advises the UCL Council on all academic matters and questions affecting the educational policy of UCL.
Dr Tillett has also been elected onto the UCL Academic Committee from September 2020.
Dr Tillett said: “I am very excited to have this opportunity to gain more insight into UCL’s central operations and contribute to its governance and educational delivery.”
Dr Ronca said: “I consider it a privilege to be welcomed onto the board and look forward to being an even more active contributor to UCL’s academic excellence.”
ISEH Director Professor Fares Haddad said: “The ISEH is proud to have two of the best educators in our field recognised in this way – it is richly deserved.”
