We are extremely proud to share that Professor Mark Hamer, Chair in Sport, and Exercise Medicine at Institute of Sport Exercise and Health (ISEH), has been listed as one of the world’s most influential researchers by Clarivate in their annual Highly Cited Researchers list for 2022.
The list recognises authors of the most influential research papers around the world, with names being drawn from publications that rank in the 1% by citations for a field or fields and publication year in the Web of Science.™
Professor Mark Hamer is a leading researcher at ISEH and Professor in Sport & Exercise Medicine (Division Surgery Interventional Science) at University College London (UCL). He has been recognised in the cross-field category for his work undertaking research in areas such as Public, Environmental & Occupational Health, Sport Sciences and Environmental Sciences and Ecology Science and Technology.
Clarivate has identified 6,940 researchers from 69 countries across the globe who have demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field(s).
