The UK Sports Institute (formerly known as the English Institute of Sport), is the team behind many of Team GB’s most successful athletes and sports.  Since 2002, and over the last four Olympic and Paralympic cycles. The UK Sports Institute has consistently performed at a world-leading level, contributing to over 1,000 Olympic and Paralympic medals. 

Its 250 plus practitioners work in multi-disciplinary teams to provide a holistic service that supports coaches and Performance Directors to improve the performance of their elite athletes, by delivering services which enable them to optimise training programmes, maximise performance in competition and improve health and wellbeing.

The Institute of Sport Exercise and Health (ISEH) is the main London site for the UK Sports Institute and practitioners based at ISEH, offering high quality sports medicine and physiotherapy  services.
