Professional Biography
Matt James is the Development Director at the ISEH. His role is to increase the awareness of the Institute and what it can offer, with the ultimate aim of delivering world-class research, education and clinical expertise in sport and exercise medicine, along with delivering initiatives to improve the health of the nation.
Matt works closely with a range of partners, including professional sporting organisations and National Governing Bodies, and the diverse range of organisations involved in public health. He also leads on developing brand and sponsorship partnerships.
Matt is passionate about sport and has extensive National Governing Body experience from grass-roots through to performance level and had previously worked in the financial sector and commercial sport.
