Belinda Durey is an Exercise Physiologist, currently working in research at the ISEH in conjunction with her clinical roles at UCLH, The Royal Free Hospital and Westmoreland St Hospital. Belinda’s academic background includes a bachelor of Applied Science from the University of South Australia, and a Masters of Exercise Science degree from The University of Queensland.

Belinda is registered with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) and spent 5 years working in a combination of academic, clinical and industry-based exercise physiology positions before moving to London. These positions included lecturing within the School of Health Science at Flinders University, exercise prescription and programming in community-settings and schools, and athlete testing.

Within the UK, Belinda’s previous work (for HCA Healthcare) focused on exercise testing (CPET) and health assessment for corporate groups. She is passionate about exercise in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease - ‘Exercise is Medicine’.
